Nate's Creed Page

I was thinking about what else I could add to my webpage and I thought I would try to make a Creed page because they are my favorite band. I'm not sure what I'm going to put on here or whatever but you will love it.

Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti are hard at work writing songs for their next album, which does not yet have a title. The first few months this year, they will be working on new songs, but they will not start recording yet. They say that they are not in a hurry to finish their album and they will be taking their time on this one. Stapp said back in December, "For the first time in five years, there's nothing on the schedule. Whatever happens next year — no timelines, no deadlines. ... If an album's ready to come around October or November, then it is. We're finally gonna slow everything down and just kind of reflect and enjoy what's happened to us." Creed plans to record their next LP as a trio, and there is no talk of a replacement for Brian Marshall (bassist), who left the band last August. Scott Phillips is "content the way things are." He says, "Going into the new album, we just want to see what the three of us can come up with." Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti are working on new lyrics four nights a week until they are satisfied with what they have done. About the new album, Mark said in late January, "It's gonna be more extreme on all extremities — the harder stuff a little harder, the epic stuff a little more epic."

I can't wait to see what the three can do with this album. It will definitely be hard to top My Own Prison (1997) and Human Clay (1999), their first two albums. I believe they can do it, but I wonder if it will lack anything without Brian Marshall. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
